Hi!

Long time now since I last updated my blog, but here I am again! :) I hope you are all well, all around the world and have a wonderful time enjoying crafting. There is really not much that can compete with our hobby.
I am a busy bee now a days but will never forget to play just for fun. Like I have done here! :)
This is a digital stamp from Crafts and me. The sentiment is a freebie from a place I am afraid I have forgot the name...

And a card need to have some beautiful flowers. :)

Shabby vintage card!

Today I want to show you...a card without a stamped image! Whoho! Scary stuff I know!
I have been thinking about doing a vintage card with this cute image for soooo looooong! I finally took the step! It is so nice to step outside the box now and then! Even if it only is for a short while. :)

My suitcase

Hi!

Vintage isn´t normaly my thing, but after being sick so long time and we have taken turns in my family, so I felt I had to do something out of my normal range. For therapy. There isn´t any better therapy than to cut in papers!! And to color images ofcourse! The tutorial I have used is found in Magnolia Ink magazine nr 3 2011. It is Debbie who created this one. I followed it very precise in the begining, but some how the messures didn´t work for me, so I had to change some things. And I thought the chain she had hanging down would hold the suitcase together, but it didn´t so if I do it again some time I will think out something different. And I wanted 2 stripes as a handle (instead of 1), to be able to carrie it around (read my daughter here!). But I would like to thank Debbie for sharing! It was sooo relaxing doing this suitcase, even if it took a long time. Or maybe just because.

The 2 stamps from the same serie from Scrapper´s Delights is called Rose Petal digi 1 and Rose Petal digi 3. Rose Petal digi 1 is offered as a freebie so go here and grab here while you can!

My dies are from spellbinders and from Magnolia.

I used a lot of Tim Holtz products. The tickets are from him. The beautiful pearl. All distressed edges and the hole decorative paper is filled with Antique Linen!

Hi all!

I have used some of the things I got for Christmas! :)
This die from TH is one thing. And the flowers from Prima too! It feels very strange not to have a colored image as my main point. But nice to think in new ways.

Vintage and Felt!

Oh how i love to combine 2 challenges and see if they fit! I think these 2 did just that. :)

The Shabby Tea Room have a challenge called Vintage White, but we could also do a card monocromatic and use brown, which i did. I used Tim Holtz stamp, I think I haven´t used it before, but my memory often fails me, so maybe I have...But so fun to do vintage! Me like!

Paper Sundaes have a challenge where we should use felt. And i have had some felt flowers for some time now, and didn´t know when to use those. Oh well, i still have some left, so have to go and look for more challenge later on! :) At least 2 came to use!

I have used: stamp from TH. Dies from Martha Stewart, Magnolia and Cheery Lynn Designs. Distress ink - brushed corduroy. Cardstock from DCWV. Pearls from Panduro.
