Guest designer for

Hi!
Today I will show you not one but two cards! LOL!
When I won the challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges this month I got to chose 3 (2 if not) digital stamps if I would like to be the guest designer for the next challenge. Guess what I answered? And I couldn´t do just one card, I made two! :) The theme they have is "Rainbows, clouds or wings".
For the first card I have used Isabella and Belle. They are so cute! And this card will be perfect for one of my daughter pre-school teachers. As you can see my card has the shape of a cloud. :)
Card ingrediense:
Stamp: from Little Miss Muffet (direct link to stamp above)
Coloring medium: ProMarkers
Papers: the blue is from Panduro and the pink is from Webster´s pages
Dies: the flower is from Magnolia die
Embellishments: ticket from TH, Prima flower, brad, flip flop lasercut from Make it Crafty, halfpearls

For the second card I have used Elisabeth Louise Hatter. Can you tell I created this card on a rainy day? LOL. I usually chose colors after weather, not so often what I want on the card! Strange maybe, but I am a little strange! :) And on this card I used butterflies to create after the theme "wings".
Card ingrediense:
Stamp: from Little Miss Muffet (direct link to stamp above)
Coloring medium: ProMarkers
Papers: the orange is from Victorian designs and the brown I can´t remember I am afraid
Dies: butterflies from Ek success, spellbinders, Nellie Snellen
Embellishments:  flowers from Johanna, bling, halfpearls, brown feather, ticket I have made myself, I have sewed on this card!

(pearls, image, flowers - I have it on both my cards, but have it most on number 1, so I would like to enter number 1!)

My grandfather

Hi!
My grandfather turned 80!! this week so I have created a card! And when it comes to elder men I don´t have many stamps, so I chose this one from Mo Manning. It is one of my favorite male stamps!

The summer has really arrived in Sweden. It is soo hot, and we are not used to this yet. But it is nice to see the sun after the long grey winter, so  I will not complain!

To my beloved grandfather(morfar in swedish):

Inspiration card for Scrapper´s Delight

Hi!

Today I have tried out a new technic and used a digital stamp, Godess 1 and a digital paper, Mother nature paper 5 (from this: kit), and merged them. It is from the inspirational blog at Make it Crafty I realized that png images are only white within and transparent outside! I hadn´t thought about this before! And when looking for that specific article so I could link it to you, I couldn´t find it. Typical!

Anyway, so I took the background paper and put it in word. Than I just paste the png digital stamp over and Voilá! So I colord the image like i used too and could use the background colors for inspiration! How nice is this! All other times, I do the opposite. I color an image and then have to try and find a matching paper. Which is really hard. Especially for me. I love to color in warm colors. And I shop paper in cold colors. Which is really annoying! I have to stop either of them. But the problem is I love it. Not when trying to find the right paper tho. Then I usually go mad about myself! I have colored Tilda with bubbles in warm blue tones. And I have not a single paper that suites this image! I have a lot of blue paper. With cold blue and grey tones. They are gorgeous, but don´t fit! So this technic I have used here is a dream for me!

This beautiful godess does look strong and sexy. If you are sensitive about strong and sexy woman, you better not look at this! :)  For all the rest of us:

Have a great day!

Birthday card for the big 40!

Hi!

Today I have created a birthday card for a woman who turns 40 soon. I have distressed the edges, the swirls have embossing on them (white) and the lilies I have created and the blue flowers are from Prima. This lady called Effie is from Sassy Studio Designs. I must admit I haven´t read the book where she is from, called the Hunger Games. I am not sure what the name will be when translated, but after reading what everyone thinks about it, I guess it is worth reading? :)

I have distressed the edges and used black sooth - distress ink on them. The tag is from a magnolia die. Used both half pearls and Pearl Maker on the card. And voila:

Card of Effie

Hi!

Over at Scrapper´s Delights there is a new challenge with the name May flowers! Check it out here.
Flowers is something I love and usually have on my cards (one or two cards for men that don´t have any!)

For this card I have used Dragonfly Pixie.

Most of the details is made by me on this card. Flowers, pin and ticket. It was fun to do more and use less bought items.

My suitcase

Hi!

Vintage isn´t normaly my thing, but after being sick so long time and we have taken turns in my family, so I felt I had to do something out of my normal range. For therapy. There isn´t any better therapy than to cut in papers!! And to color images ofcourse! The tutorial I have used is found in Magnolia Ink magazine nr 3 2011. It is Debbie who created this one. I followed it very precise in the begining, but some how the messures didn´t work for me, so I had to change some things. And I thought the chain she had hanging down would hold the suitcase together, but it didn´t so if I do it again some time I will think out something different. And I wanted 2 stripes as a handle (instead of 1), to be able to carrie it around (read my daughter here!). But I would like to thank Debbie for sharing! It was sooo relaxing doing this suitcase, even if it took a long time. Or maybe just because.
Suitcase paper craft

The 2 stamps from the same serie from Scrapper´s Delights is called Rose Petal digi 1 and Rose Petal digi 3. Rose Petal digi 1 is offered as a freebie so go here and grab here while you can!

My dies are from spellbinders and from Magnolia.

I used a lot of Tim Holtz products. The tickets are from him. The beautiful pearl. All distressed edges and the hole decorative paper is filled with Antique Linen!

This pin is a vintage pin I have created.
